Chapter Five: Consequences
****
He´s pacing in front of me. I bite my lip and watch him. I hope he isn´t having second thoughts. So I lied. So what? I had to do whatever it took to get what I wanted.
And I´d do it again if I had the chance.
"Junior, c´mon. Sit down."
He keeps pacing like I never spoke. I frown and keep watching him. "Junior?"
"Shut up," he says in a slight growl, sending a glare in my direction.
I blink. "What?"
"You fucking heard me."
Shit.
"Harvick cheated on you, so being upset is expected--"
"He didn´t cheat on me, did he?" Junior interrupts in a demanding tone as he stops pacing and walks towards my spot on my couch.
I cross my arms. "I saw what I saw."
"And what did you see?"
"I told you. I saw him and Jimmie kissing behind Jimmie´s coach." I look at Junior dead on and he looks back at me.
Silence.
Does he believe me?
Junior looks down at the ground for a moment before turning his gaze back at me. "Tell me the truth, Gordon."
I narrow my eyes at him. "I am."
"Kevin doesn´t lie."
"So you´re saying that I do?"
"Obviously!"
I stand up and stalk into his space. "Don´t raise your voice at me."
He looks at me challengingly. "Tell me the truth."
Shit. So much for intimidation.
I back away and sit down. "It´s hard to explain."
"So make it easy."
Biting my lip, I sigh and look up at him. "I‘ve wanted you for a very long time, Junior. When I see something I want, I take it."
Junior raises an eyebrow. "Take it?"
"You heard me. I wanted you. You were with Harvick, so I had to take you from him. End of story. Want to go out to lunch?"
"You lied to me."
I shrug. "And? It worked, didn´t it?" I stand up and walk back over to him. "I got you and we´re happy, right?" I slide my arms around his slender hips and forcefully pull him towards me. "Now, I was thinking about Mexican for lunch. How about you?"
He pushes me away and I glare at him. "What is your problem??"
"My problem is that you lied to me!" Junior proclaims. "And you´re standing there like it´s no big fucking deal!"
"It isn’t a big fucking deal, Junior!" I sigh. "Listen, you’re all worked up. How about we go to lunch, you can relax and we’ll talk about this later, hmm?"
"How about you kiss my ass, Gordon," he snarls.
I scowl at him. He just wants to take the hard road, doesn´t he? Well, I wouldn´t expect anything less from him.
Smirking, I sit back down while looking at him.
"What´s so fucking funny?"
"You are, Junior," I chuckle. I can see my actions are just pushing more and more towards his breaking point.
Perfect.
"Since you’ve figured out that I’ve lied to you, now what?" I continue. "I mean, after that little talk you and Harvick had in the garage yesterday, I don’t think he would want to smell your shit, let alone hear it from your mouth."
His eyes flare. Oh, right. He didn´t know I was there. Oh, how delightfully humorous!
"How the fuck did you know about that?"
I smirk deeper. "I heard it. What was that line you said? Oh. ‘He's a hell of a lot better in the sack than you'll ever be’. How could I have forgotten that?" I gasp in faux surprise. "Were you talking about me, Junior? How sweet of you."
Junior trembles slightly with slowly rising anger. "You fucking piece of shit," he grumbles.
Smiling sweetly, I look at him and ignore his comment. "So, this brings me back to my first question. Now what?"
His eyes meet the floor. Quietly, he sighs: "I´m going to get him back."
Unable to hold it back, I burst with laughter. How noble! "Oh, really, Junior? Good luck with that."
"This is all your fucking fault," Junior growls as his glare meets my eyes.
"My fault? It takes two to fuck, okay? Remember health class? Besides, you cheated on Harvick before I even told you about him and Jimmie, so don´t pin this all on me." I smirk when I know I have him. "I didn´t have a boyfriend. You did. Who broke who´s heart here?"
Junior´s face falls as he finally realizes his wrong doing. Too late, I´m afraid. He looks at the ground shamefully and his shoulders slump as if his fragile from can´t hold up its weight.
"So if you think Harvick is gonna take you back, then you´re one delusional, pathetic man," I continue with a smirk that I can´t get rid of. Not that I´d want to. "Face facts, Junior. I´m all you have."
There´s an eerie silence that crosses us. A deafening silence. His stormy blue eyes are still attached to the ground, unblinking. I can hear my pulse throb in my ears and can sense it as it speeds up, waiting for him to say something, anything just end the pounding in my ears.
He´s still looking at the ground. What is it, Junior? Speak up! Speak up, damn it!
He finally looks up at him, a hurt and betrayed look on his face. "If you´re all I have, then I´d rather be alone," he spits, his voice cracking with every word. With that, he turns slowly and distressingly creeps out of my coach.
I´m stunned. How could he turn me down? I´m all he has! I´m the only one who cares!
I love him!
I sigh and put my face in my hands. Hmm...maybe I went about this all wrong.

I see them both all the time. Together. Talking and getting along.
Makes me sick.
How did they do it? How did they get back together?? Granted, they´re only friends now, but they´re being cordial with each other. How?? Harvick should detest him.
Doesn´t Harvick remember what Jun--Dale told him? He cheated on him for fuck sakes! Now they both loathe me like I´m the bad guy here. I never cheated on anyone. I did nothing wrong.
Fools.
Doesn´t matter. Dale wasn´t worth my time anyway. He never cleaned up after himself. Left his dirty clothes all over the floor. Disgusting.
I´ve found a new playmate now. One who listens to direction.
"Jimmie?"
He drifts into the room, wearing the black outfit I picked out for him. Oh, he looks so good in black.
"Yes, Jeff?"
I walk over to him, pull his body towards me and kiss him hard and deep. His body responds as it shivers against me and his lips attack mine hungrily.
If only everything was this easy.

There´s the end. Hope it was as enjoyable to read as it was to write.
