A very good tempered friendly, played in great spirits by both sides, saw Raleigh win the game by 6 - 2. 0 - 0 after 20 minutes, the Raleigh scored 2 quick well taken goals for 2 -0...worse was to follow for Dawnay with 2 further goals being added for 4 - 0. Second half was better for Dawnay, with 2 goals being pulled back,one by Keith Wicks a well worked move, and a second by Nick Jones (penalty, following a generous decision after a foul on Lloyd Gallagher, but Dawnay were happy to accept anything that was given)...sadly, that was it, a couple of chances came and went, and Raleigh added 2 more goals for 6-2. Inspite of the score line, it was one of the best games I have enjoyed playing in this year, so thanks to the Raleigh for the game, and we at Dawnay wish Andy and his team well for the remaining fixtures they have.
