Biography of Richard Smiley

1967 - 1969 

Attended College of San Mateo

1969 - 1972: Attended California State University, Hayward, Bachelor of Arts.

1972 - 1973: Attended University of Utah, Master of Science.

1973 - 1974: Internship with Congressman Andrew Young in Washington DC

1974         : Relocated to San Francisco Bay Area and worked in the Human                          Services field.

1982         :Relocated to Atlanta, GA. Got involved in a number of political                            campaigns - local and national.  Also worked for the City of Atlanta                     and State of Georga in various types of employment.

1995           :Relocated to Tampa, Fl, currently working as a juvenile Probation                        Officer.  Also an ordained Deacon at First Baptist Church of Lincoln                      Gardens.  I have four children, Richard Jamaal-25, Melissa-23,                            Joslyn-21, and Jennifer-19 as well as two grand kids, Mylka-5, and                      Ajae-3.
