Gone Gone like thie sunshine on a rainy day, Gone like the light when you extuinguish a flame, Gone like the rainbow that fades away, Gone like the flowers that bloomed in May, Gone like the happy things that make me smile, But I guess even people go after a while, This is goodbye until I see you again, Waiting at the gates to let me in, And I will think of you every day, Until once again I see your face. Dedicated to Jaqulen Beck
Sometimes things happen that we cannot control. I'd like to let my Grandma Jackie know how proud I am of her for being so strong in this hard time. All three poems on this page are dedicated to you although only one formaly states it.

The Aftermath Hazy dreams fill my mind As I lie back and close my eyes Tears splash on my pillow But caught in the swirl of memories and whispers, I don't notice Laughter of days long past rings in my ears Calming whispers set to rest my fears Gone now is all of this Gone now is my life, my love, my bliss At least he didn't suffer much At least he didn't cry At lease I got to see him last Before he said goodbye.
