Dear Mr. Weihenmayer,

Hello, my name is Hugo and I have just finished reading your story. I found it intriguing and quite interesting.

I never would have thought there would be any blind person daring enough to go into the sport of mountain climbing, one of the world's most dangerous sports. I know you have climbed four of the seven summits so far and think it would be amazing if you were to be able to climb Mount Everest. Do you plan to try to climb Mount Everest? If you do and succeed, I hope you write an entire story of your journey. Your story was very motivating and inspiring in many ways. After reading your story, I realized that my life will not be perfect and it never will. I should try to live life as it comes to me and try to overcome challenges.

I mean I know people constantly tell me this several times but reading your story made my vision of life easier to understand. I also wonder, do you like rock climbing or mountain climbing more? Do you ever climb alone unsupervised?  Does climbing without your eyes often make the experience more exhilarating or does it make it more stressful? When you are stressed, how much fear runs through your blood? Can you put it in words? I admire your hard work and determination to show others who have disabilities that barriers are meant to be broken. Not only have you transformed the lives of the blinds you have given more sense to those who can see just fine.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my letter and hope that you have times to answer back. I look forward to read more of your writing in the future. I enjoyed your story in your own words. Now I realize that with characteristics of integrity intensity and intelligence, you can achieve so much more in life.

                                                                        Sincerely,

Mr. Hugo
