"Midge"

Welcome Friends... Thank You for Visiting and God Bless You... Hello. I was born in 1933 in Scranton, Arkansas. I went to St. Ignatious School through eighth grade. Then I went to the local High school. I loved all sports and I played basketball for four years. I am from a family of eight (three brothers and four sisters). I still have two sisters with me, Marie and Marcy, who still live in Arkansas. I also have a son Jim, a daughter Marie and her husband, Ty, as well as two grandchildren, Alex and Sara. I moved to the State of Washington in 1957 and in the early 1970's I married John. I always admired people who could paint and John knew of my desire to paint. He had me take lessons and with his love, encouragement, and support I learned to put all of my dreams on canvas. John was the love of my life. John died in 1983 and I was so lost without him. He was my best critic, and when he passed away I didn't paint for two years. With the help of friends, I finally got back into painting. I thank God for that everyday. I still live in the State of Washington. I am grateful for all the blessings I have received in my life. When people ask me about my paintings I tell them this: God gave me the talent to see the beauties of this world through His eyes, and my husband gave me the love, encouragement, and support to put it on canvas. I would like to thank the Lord for all the blessings He has given me. Prayer Of Thanksgiving Dear Heavenly Father, Throughout our life we are taught to take care of ourselves. We sometimes forget that You are always looking out for us. We ask You to hear our prayers of thanksgiving for all the blessings You have bestowed upon us. Every day of our life is a new blessing. When I awake in the morning I give You thanks for bringing me safely through the night and for giving me another day. I also ask whatever You want me to do this day, let Thy will be done unto me. I know as long as You are with me I can do anything, without you I can do nothing.
