The Middleboro 14's were back in the State Finals no matter what this year, by hosting the State Finals Tournment. They still played in the Distracts going 1-2, losing there first game, winning there secound, then losing there third. They still went to the State Finals. First Middleboro played Foxboro and lost 9-2. Then they were in the Losers bracket playing Barnstable winning 8-6, and moving on to play Medford. Middleboro won 7-2. Then they moved on to play Hingham-Hull. Down 4 in the top of the 7th, Middleboro scored 5 to take the lead. Then in the bottom of the 7th on 2 errors there were runners on first and second. The Umpires called the game of darkness. They all returned the next day, but since subs couldnt re-enter Middleboro was forced to forfet there win. (Fallriver beat Hingham-Hull 6-4 then beat Danvers twice 9-7 and 9-0)
