Welcome to
Our Cybersite The Ninety-Nines,
Inc. is an international organization of women pilots who
came together in 1929 for mutual support and to promote aviation. Membership is
open to any woman with at least a private pilot certificate. Student
pilots may join with a provisional status if they are in active pursuit of a
license.

Services
In keeping with a commitment
to the advancement of aviation, The Ninety-Nines, Inc. actively supports
numerous projects and activities designed to achieve this goal.

Educational and Charitable
Projects - Local chapters sponsor
programs such as aerospace workshops for teachers, airport tours for school
children, fear of flying clinics for airline passengers, and flight instructor
revalidation seminars. Members also participate in intercollegiate flying
competitions as runners, judges, and teachers. Funding assistance is
available to approved aviation activities.

Museums -
With a strong interest
in the history of flight, the Ninety-Nines is actively involved in an ongoing
effort to restore the childhood home of Amelia Earhart in Atchison,
Kansas. This organization is also responsible for creating and
maintaining The Ninety-Nines Museum of Women Pilots at Will Rogers World Airport
in Oklahoma City.

Scholarships - Each year the
Ninety-Nines as an international organization awards scholarships totaling
almost $50,000 to members pursuing advanced training. In addition some
chapters support local scholarships to women seeking pilot certificates.

- Several awards are
presented annually to both members and non-members who have made significant
contributions to the advancement of aviation.
