Q: Can I make my eyes look bolder and more defined by just wearing make-up?

For a little more drama, smudge a little of the darker color under the lower lashes, from outer corner to about midway under the eye. A little eyeliner can add drama, too; I like eyeliners that have a blending tip on one end. The look today is not one hard line, but a smudgy, smoldering effect. I rarely use black eye liner, as I feel it is a little harsh. Smoke, plum, brown are better choices in my opinion.

Of course, mascara completes the look. For evening, I like a fashion look of black mascara on my top lashes, and a plum or midnight blue mascara on my lower lashes. Sometimes I'll tip the ends of my upper lashes with the colored mascara for a fun effect. It's not obvious, but your lashes will catch the light and give those glimpses of color. For daytime, I use a brown/black mascara and sometimes I don't do the lower lashes.

Just some ideas - have fun!

Q: There are many colours of CONCEALER in the market, what do I use them for?

. Use a green concealer if you think you over-blush above acceptable levels. It also hides pimples, blemishes, scars, birthmarks & broken capillaries.

. Use a yellow concealer to cover up dark colored bruises & dark under-eye circles.

. Blend some pink/mauve concealer with your regular foundation to help camouflage yellowish bruises & even out uneven yellow-colored skin tone.

Q: Should I apply CONCEALER before or after foundation?
Concealer can be applied either before or after foundation, just make sure that it is not wiped away while you are blending with foundation. Always start with a small amount of concealer & apply gently in a dabbing motion. Do not rub or exert pressure. After you have completed applying foundation & concealer, set with loose powder.

Q: How to hide BIRTHMARK/FRECKLES/DARK CIRCLE?

*Birthmark : if it's getting in your way, especially when its on the neck, shoulder or arm, look for creams that are specially formulated to camouflage birthmarks. Select the shade closest to your neck's color. After application, blend together with foundation & loose powder extending beyond the birthmark area for a less obvious look.

*To hide freckles, choose a foundation that is just slightly darker than the non-freckled area.

* To cover up dark circles beneath eyes or eye bags, apply some light liquid foundation on the dark areas followed by a concealer that is lighter than your foundation. Blend well.

It will also be beneficial to apply some gentle eye cream onto the dark circles before you put on foundation.

*1 quick fix for a PIMPLE : dab a suitable concealer that is one shade lighter than your skin color before putting on foundation.
