Ceiling of the Chapter House
As you can tell by the multiple pictures, I was enthralled with the funny/freaky carvings they had around the Chapter House.
Jackie being a good little Catholic girl.
Me being a good little Lutheran girl.
Basically, Lord Rockingham (PM of England) was buried in the minster.
We climbed to the top of the minster and laughed at this sign at the beginning.  They really should mention something about claustrophobia.  When you're in a tiny, narrowing spiral staircase and all you see are steps above and below you, there's a good possibility you might start freaking out.
View from halfway up.  We were about the equivalent of the top of one of those towers.
View of York from the top.
Jackie on the old city wall that surrounds the city.
