FEEDING: Flake, Pellet and frozen food
SEXING: Males are slow to change colour but colour chang begins with a metallic blue in the facial region.
BREEDING: Mouth brooder: Fish begin to spawn at 12 months, spawns can number 100 eggs but on average 50-60. Fry grow unevenly so they should be sorted according to size into other tanks to stop the bigger fry eating the smaller fry.
