Hi! My name is Stuart Leonard. I'm 31 and originally from New Orleans, LA. I'm currently working as a post-doctoral fellow here at LSU Health Sciences Center. My work here is focusing on the effects of alcohol on and the role of the hippocampus in learning and memory. I recently received my my Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Memphis. My dissertation research was in the area of behavioral endocrinology and reproductive physiology. I explored the fascinating realm of odor attractiveness and odor preference in the meadow vole,Microtus pennsylvanicus. I did my undergraduate work in Biology at Louisiana College (a great school, check it out!) in Pineville, LA , and my Master's degree in Biology at McNeese State University which is in Lake Charles, LA.
