The simpleness of me......My name is Erica, I live in Colorado and absolutely love it here. I work the local healthfood store, and no I am not some kind of fruitcake vegetarian that communicates with dead animals. I am an Achondroplasia dwarf, which has me standing at 4'1". I don't plan on getting any taller. Being short doesn't stop me from much. It has taught me to be independent in many ways. Alot of people seem to be afraid to ask questions, which is dumb. I think one thing that really bothers me is when kids will ask me why I am short and the parent will scold their child for asking. Hey, asking is much better then just standing there staring, and if you explain to the child and talk to them then they don't feel the need to be shy or scared of you. It didn't really hit me that I was a dwarf til I was about 6 or so. It didn't bother me, but at times I would wonder what it would be like when I get older. Now that I am older, it still doesn't bother me. Life is good. That doesn't mean you will find me in the circus dressed up as some clown named "Smile's the Shortass." I went to my first dwarf convention in '90 and had the time of my life. If you want to know more about little people (people like me), click here.   Is all this dwarf talk boring you??

Anyways, to conclude this autobiography page.....I enjoy life, have great friends, and I don't like to watch the soaps.
