| MV Jersey Coast (1) 1946 - 1954 MV Kentish Coast (2) 1967 (charter only) Built and commisssioned as Ulster Duchess, Belfast. Then only after one day, 9th September 1946, the vessel was transfered to BCIS and became Jersey Coast. |
| 1953 The occassion was the last voyage by Captain George Colverson, my Father respected him, he was another seafarer who had been in sail. (My Father was Chief Officer at the time). The pictures were taken in St Helier, Jersey, showing the companies new transit shed (built in 1950 and still standing) at Victoria Pier. |
