My Father
Born, 10th May, 1908 on the island of Kihnu Estonia.
18th January, 1934 Qualified as a Estonian Master Mariner (Foreign going), Certificate No. 32060, 18th January 1934.
15th April, 1942 Issued a replacement Estonian Temporary Passport (No.14), London.
17th November, 1947 Qualified as a 2nd Officer in the British Merchant Marine.
  9th December, 1947 Became 2nd Officer on MV Guernsey Coast (xUlster Duke) of BCIS.
15th November, 1949 Issued UK Certificate of Naturalisation (cert no. BNA 8709 Home Office no. M 58233).  Registered 9th December, 1949, London.
11th December, 1950 Qualified as a Master Mariner British Merchant Marine.
11th March, 1952 Master of his first British ship, MV Jersey Coast (xUlster Duchess)
  1st September, 1967 was the last time he was Master (BCIS had down-sized to one ship)
21st May, 1968 was the last time he was at sea. (MV Mountstewart, paid off Birkenhead)
Death, 14th May, 1995, Felixstowe, Suffolk, England.
26th August 2002 Re-buried (urn) in Tallinn, Estonia, then moved to Kihnu May 2004).
When my Father past his Estonian Officer's ticket (1934), he still served on NORA. then he became a shipowner and master of CLARA a 3 masted motor schooner, (1935-1936).
He served on the Estonian registered MINA (1937-1938)
Then
TAARA (1938-1940) 
This ship took coal from UK coal ports to French naval bases (North and South Mediteranean).
During WWII the ship was registered Liverpool.  Lost on the night of  5th/6th August 1941 off Cromer, Norfolk.
