I am a proud owner of a PS2 and I am really looking forward to some of the new releases that Sony are bringing out. I cant wait for the hard drive and modem to come out for the PS2 and then all users will be able to play online games and download games to their hard drives which sounds really promising. Also the games that have and are coming out look something special, for instance Socom US Navy seals looks like it will be a great game, Grand Theft Auto 5 will top the charts for a long long time when it comes out, and Pro Evolution Soccer 3 will no doubt be the best football game out.
The PS2 does have a little bit of competition that it did not have when the PS1 came out, X-Box and Nintendo Game Cube look set to challange PS2 for the coveted title of King Of Consoles although the PS2 has almost a year head start over the two. The debate will never end about who owns the best console but in my personal opinion I think the PS2 will pull through and be the best as it has the best games developers working for it.
My favourite games at the moment for the PS2 are Pro Evolution Soccer 2, Grand Theft Auto : Vicecity and Metal Gear Solid 2. I think they have the best graphics and gameplay on the market.
