FREMANTLE, WESTERN AUSTRALIA
when we got back from kalgoorlie,
jodie headed off to brisbane
(lani had left while we were away),
and amanda had to take her final exams.
i entertained myself by hanging out in fremantle with alicia.
Freo has a great shipwreck gallery as part of the
Western Australia Maritime
Museum.
i spent one afternoon examining the wreck of the Batavia,
an old dutch east india company ship
that crashed into a reef on the west coast of australia in 1629.
Alicia and i also went and saw an Aussie Rules match
and spent an afternoon hanging out in Kings Park in Perth.
