THE AIR AND THE AIRPORT
Seattle - Los Angeles. (2 hours)
Los Angeles - Hong Kong. (15 hours)
Hong Kong - Sydney. (8.5 hours)
3 days had been lost before i finally got to australia.
I wish there was more to say about it.
A big plane and a long flight.
I watched movies: Austin Powers Goldmember, The Good Girl, 24-hour photo.
I read. I watched T.V: Will and Grace, Mad About You, Friends, Absolutely Fabulous.
They even got my vegetarian meals right.
On my longest flight, i sat next to Guran, a college kid from the city formally known as Bombay.
He was attending university in San Diego, and seemed to think that California
was the best place in the world.
He looked forward to transferring to school in the Silicon Valley,
where he hoped to make his future.
He had to wait 8 hours in Hong Kong for his next flight.
I had to wait 12.
So we waiting together, talking about our travels, and talking about
all the other places in the world we would like to go.
Guran was happy with California, although he said he would like to go to Bora Bora.
I, of course, still want to go everywhere: the Galapagos Islands,
Mexico, Guatamala, India, Iceland.
