Dunedin houses some amusing attractions
including the Cadbury Chocolate Factory,
which i didn't visit because i went to their other factory
in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia and the Speights Brewery -
that i DID check out (when in Rome...)
Speights is one of the most popular new zealand beers,
and you're just not allowed to stay in new zealand unless you drink
one.
The greatest highlight, though, was the Otago Peninsula -
a wildlife wonderland with an immense amount
of birdlife, marine mammals, and of course, sheep.
I sucked it up and went on an
Elm Wildlife Tour,
because as it turned out, the best spotting sights were on private
farmland,
and when we tried to go and see wildlife on our own,
all we saw was one dead sea gull and two dead sea lions.
we also experienced an earthquake while visiting this land of Scots,
7.2 on the Richter Scale and rough enough to wake us up in bed.
Suzi was getting a little panicky and was trying to get me
to confirm her earthquake suspicions.
In my sleepy delirium, my initial thought response was
"are you sure that guy on the top bunk isn't just having a wank?"
