PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA
i had never been to western australia before
so after keith left, i decided to hop on plane and head out
to perth,
on the Australian southwest coast,
and visit amanda & elska (who i met on aussie trip #2)
and lani & jodie (cousins of karley in brisbane).
We instantly hit it off on the hang out scene
and spent just about every afternoon drinking beers in the backyard,
playing Palace (the infamous card game),
and watching Australian Big Brother (the addictive reality
TV show).
Our antics were only interupted to go to the squash courts with
amanda,
where lani, jodie and i drank beer and watched amanda win matches.
On our crazy nights, we actually made it out of the house:
we went to the main gay bar in perth, The Court,
where lani was escorted out by the bouncer for being too drunk
and passing out in a chair by the pool tables.
we also grabbed lani's cutie friend alicia,
and made it over to hip-e-club for some 80s retro dancing.
When in doubt, we couldn't go wrong spending late afternoons
at one of the skimpies - bars decorated with scantily clad
women.
