The Disneyland Railroad

New Orleans Square Station

Walt Disney's fascination with trains dates back clear to the days of his childhood in the midwest, where he would ride trains whenever he got the chance. He also credited the train to one of his greatest inspirations - Mickey Mouse. Today, guests have the opportunity to ride on one of four real steam engines: Teh E.P. Ripley, The C.K. Holliday, The Fred G. Gurley, or The Ernest S. Marsh. The Disneyland Railroad gives a grand circle tour of Disneyland with stops at Main Street Station, New Orleans Square, Mickey's Toon Town, and Tomorrowland. Plus, on the Disneyland Railroad, guests are given a special trip to the Grand Canyon and Primeval World. Both of which were originally created for the 1964 World's Fair.
