"Flyin' cats"
The Cats were defeated in the final game by the the stars. The game was tight and the score remained tied thru the expiration of regulation time. The Stars prevailed in a Sudden-Death (Very sudden) Shoot Out. This was a disappointing end to a hard fought season for the Cats, however, the team was proud to have pressured the Stars, bringing  them "to the brink" .
The Cats are
coached by Mr. Shannon Doyle, an american financial consultant,  who hails from South Bend, Indiana where Mr. Doyle was instrumental in building the team at Notre Dame. Mr. Doyle a native of Fort-Coulonge, Qc. is a mainstay in the activities at Mickey Creek and a valued member of the "club" family.

Well played season Shannon and Team

"Stars"
The Stars were the first winners of the "Sue Cup" and defeated Fort-Coulonge In a hard fought battle to cap of a great season. The Stars team was coched by Mr. Dave Hunter a colorful character around the league  who is orinally from the Montreal area and is now a mainstay in the 'Bay area. Mr. Hunter currently consults for many National Hockey League teams.
Dave  honed his hockey prowess at the South Shore Shoot-Out Academy. . . .
Mr. Hunter has various reponsibilities at the "club" namely, Course Marshall, where he  shows his general concern for the well-being of the course and its members.

Congrats Dave & the Mickey Creek Team.
        Atkinson Bar           "Boomers"
The Boomers are tremendously skilled squad with "game-breaking" calibre players at all positions. At goaltender,  this team was obviously the league's strongest. Unfortunately, the Boomers franchise were found to have some contract improprieties and were penalized by the league executive, subsequently cutting short their quest for the "Sue Cup".
The Boomers are
coached by Mr. John Atkinson, a Shawville, Qc. native, an entrepreneur  and commercial real estate magnate. Mr Atkinson is well known for his community service and for also, of course, propelling one of his proteges to the N.H.L .Presently a  management figure with a West-Coast franchise in the Big Leagues.
Well done John and Team we look forward to seeing you in 2003
