| During the Spring Break 2003, I visited Boston for the first time. I took the so-called, "Chinatown Bus" that links the Chinatowns in New York and Boston, which cost $50 roundtrip. (The roundtrip cost ranges from $10 to $50, depending on the departure and arrival time.) On the first day, I traced the Independence Trail. It was okay, considering the nice weather and the fact that I like to walk -- but nothing more. Then in the evening I visited the Museum of Fine Arts. They were having a special exhibition on the Impressionism, I browsed around for a bit, then went on to the highlight of the day -- to eat a lobster! I went to Legal Seafoods, which is a well-known seafood restaurant, and yes, I ate 1.5lbs lobster. It was goooooood! On the second day, I visited the Museum of Fine Arts again. I particularly liked the modern art exhibits. Then I also visited Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum (with a very beautiful garden), and the Institute of Contemporary Art. I really like the ICA. It was a very small museum, but really enjoyable. I only stayed in Boston for one night, two days (which was enough). I enjoyed the visits to the museums, and most of all, the lobster! |
