Mary Frances Milke and Cheryl Hutchings (The Cheering Section) represented Michigan Spirit at the Forum in New Jersey. Not only did they get to bounce ideas off of other state associations, but also had time to visit New York City! See the next MCCA newsletter for more information.

25 Eisenhower Alumni Cheerleaders, from as far back as 1989, cheered at the Eisenhower Homecoming with the current Varsity CHeerleaders on October 14th. 12 of those who cheered are current Michigan Spirit Staff Members! Way to go! Special thanks to Ike's coaches Heather and Danielle for allowing this great tradition to continue!
Way to go SVSU Staff! Camp was a great success. The demo was difficult, yet you performed it with ease. The corkscrew and single-based stretches were amazing! 80's Night was also a huge hit- gotta love "Stump-The-Staff". Your director and I were also pleased with your incredible safety record. Everyone raved about the personal attention- which is a direct result of our excellent private coaches and group leaders providing personalized camp experiences.
