PROFILE: The Mark 23 Model 0 U.S. SOCOM (Special Operations Command Pistol) pictured above was adopted as the standard service weapon for advanced combat personnel. It successfully passed a 30,000-round endurance firing test and performed equally well in extreme temperature tests (-50 degrees C to +73 degrees C). Used in such military outfits as the U.S.'s own Navy S.E.A.L.S. and Marine Corps as their secondary weapon of choice. This weapon offers buffer system for minimized recoil forces, corrosive-resistant coatings on all metal parts and a polygon barrel of hard chrome plated internal components.
