| NORTHWOOD POPULARITY CONTROL | ||||||||||
| Q: What does it take to "make it" in the South Bend musical scene? A: With the recent signing of a local emo/pop band (who's name rhymes with Prudent Lick) to Victory Records, apparently not much in regards to talent and taste. All it takes is a large high school fan base, ripping off other people's guitar rifts, a cocky attitude and a cucumber wrapped in foil down.... wait, nevermind... [Author's note: this song, although containing the name Northwood is not intended to be a slam against current students or alumni of Northwood High school. "Northwood" flows much better than say, Riley High school or even Bethel College.] |
