Along Pinnacle Road, about one-fourth mile due south, is the grave of Dr. John Green. Dr. Green was the first resident doctor in Mineral County from 1832 until 1873. Born in Bolton, England, On November 13 1793, he came to the United States in 1827. Dr. Green served as a medic in the Battle of Waterloo. He died on December 21, 1873.
