Interstate 87
STATES TRAVERSED:
New York
NOTES:
Between New York City and Albany, I-87 is part of the New York State Thruway.

I-87 and I-287 are multiplexed for 15 miles between Suffern and White Plains.

North of Albany, I-87 leaves the Thruway and continues through the Adirondacks to the Canadian border, where it becomes Quebec Autoroute 15.  This is a very popular New York-to-Montreal route that provides lots of breathtaking scenery.

I-587 in Kingston, NY is a rather odd interstate.  It goes from a traffic circle to a traffic light, with no cross traffic in between.
