July 14th, 2003 - Game against Angie's Kitchen

    Congrats to Angie's Kitchen for having some dedicated baseball players come out and support their team in the midst of ICE week.  Although the team still  had to default due an insufficient number of players, thus giving KPMG a win, both teams divided up their players and had some good old fashion baseball fun. 

July 9th, 2003 - Game against Instant Replay

    Despite losing 21-6, KPMG's spirits were not crushed. Perhaps the team was still recovering from the Retro kegger the previous night, or maybe the wide array of colourful shirts was just too much stimulation for the team and retro shirt day should be banned...all in all we had some fun.  Game highlights include Amanda's double hit and our first run brought in by Laura! 

We'll get 'em next time Team!

July 2nd, 2003 - Game against Owl Rafting

    All I have to say is, what a team!  After falling behind early to a much-improved Owl Rafting team, there was not one long face on the KPMG bench.  Even though we played the entire game from behind, the spirit on the KPMG side was at an all time high!  We decided to wait for the last inning to take our first lead of the game, and it couldn’t have come at a better time!  After Owl added to their lead in the top of the last inning taking a 14-9 lead, KPMG’s bats came to life in the home half of the last inning.  In typical KPMG fashion, singles brought us to within 2 runs of a tie.  At this time, Reid stepped up with 2 on, and nailed his first homer of the season!  KPMG 15-14 winners!

June 25th, 2003 - Game against Philthy's Dark

    Wow, if I did not know any better I would say that this heat has enhanced our performance out there on the field.  Pat yourselves on the back KPMG for today's fantastic win of 10 to 3!!  We held in there until the very end and played hard.  The player of the game, thanks to Raina for forcing him to come out, is Jeremy - those were some amazing catches!   As well, Josh that was an amazing dive to the ground...Way to be KPMG!

June 24th, 2003 - HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAY

    If you catch at Wilf's on Wednesday night be a good teammate and buy him a belated birthday drink...hope you have a good one!

June 23rd, 2003 - Game against Scotia

    Despite the insane heat on the field today, both teams gave there all and had a fun game.  KPMG came through once again with some strong hits and a solid defense to take the game 11-5.   While Eden's attempt to pretend to be an angel in the outfield failed to distract Scotia, his team spirit will not go unnoticed and maybe at the next Keg party we can all pretend to be angels....after a few beers that is.

June 21st, 2003 - Tourney #2

    After a rough beginning and devastating loss to Ethel's Lounge, KPMG came back in full force to defeat McGinnis Light, McGinnis Dark and Mel's Light.  Both infield and outfield came together forming a tight defense and some fun was had by all.  Way to be KPMG!
