The marriage was registered on 21 December 1793 and took place on 31 December 1793 in Merendree. Witnesses to the Banns were Petrus Pattyn and Maria Petronella Haerens and witnesses to the marriage were Livino van Holsbeke (residing in Landengem) and Joanna Maria Haerens. Groom's name listed as Petrus Franciscus van Holsbeke.
PROBLEM: Is name Petrus Franciscus or just Franciscus? May account for number of marriages.
IDENTITY: Identified as Francois van Holsbeke on daughter Marie Catherine's Marriage Registration.
