Obituary of Martin Thelen in unknown Stearns County Newspaper:
"Martin Thelen, 74, 1715 7th St. S., a retired employed of the Melrose Granite Co., died today. He was born March 20, 1892, in Elrosa, Minn. Mr. Thelen is survived by his widow, Anna. One child preceded him in death. Four brothers and sisters also survive. They are Jacob, South St. Paul, Minn.; Joseph, Mahnoman, Minn.; Mrs. Eva Kirkes, Long Prairie, Minn. and Anna St. Cloud. He was a member of St. Joseph Society and Eagles Club. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. from St. Mary's Cathedral with burial in Assumption Cemetery. Friends may call at the Daniel Funeral Home after 4 pm."
