"Married Kennedy-Glenn--At Saint Mary's Church in this city, Tuesday, May 30, 1882, by Rev. Father Bruton, Mr. John D. Kennedy to Miss Bridget Glenn of Eagle Creek. Mr. Kennedy is a son of Thos. F. Kennedy, one of our reliable farmers of Eagle Creek, and Miss Glenn is the daughter of Nicholas Glenn another old and well known farmer of the same town in our county. Mr. John Glenn and Miss Maggie Glenn stood up with the happy pair. We congratulate the parties and feel assured that John has a better prospect of success now, on his new farm at Beaver Falls, than when he bached it on the lone prairie."
