Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! I think this is going to be my last entry on this blog. Writing has certainly been therapeutic for me, but for the most part now - my heart is functioning well and my anxieties have subsided. I do think about the year 2016 and whether or not it will include another surgery for me. If so, I hope things go as well as they did this last time around. That really is my only fear now - I don't my life to end, there is way too much to live for.
Best wishes to you for a very blessed Christmas and New Year. The Haights will be home this year, and then head over to the Cables (Dave's sister) & Grand Rapids on the 26th. We'll catch up with all my college friends on the 27th, and then back home on the 28th.
The kids really want a dog for Christmas. I don't think it's going to happen for Christmas -- we have decided to get another dog, but will be gone for a week in January (I have a conference in Florida). So, it will have to be after that trip that we'll add a member to the family. I hope the kids can wait….
Well, I think it's time for me to sign off. Have a very Merry Christmas. Thank you for all the support and encouragement and care. I'm lucky to be here. May peace be yours in 2008.
Always, Michelle
