Hi there.  It's been a while since I've written a entry - the days are going by so fast and we are keeping ourselves very busy.  We took a mid-week trip down to Cedar Point last Wednesday.  With Dave to ride roller coasters, and me to go on the "whip you around 'til you throw up" rides - the kids had a blast! None of us were daring enough to try the new "Top Thrill Dragster" - too high, too fast.  Dave would have gone, if he had a partner to ride with - but never in a million years will I get on something like that.....

The kids are beginning to prep themselves for another school year.  They are excited at seeing friends more often and I'm excited about getting back into some kind of routine. 

Marisa had a little mishap this past weekend.  She dislocated her knee while jumping on a trampoline.  Tomorrow we see the orthopedic doctor.  We spent Saturday night in the emergency - and her x-rays showed things were ok, not broken.  I'm just nervous.  She is triple jointed (always popping her elbow, etc...) and growing incredibly fast.  I just hope this isn't the first of many joint injuries.  We'll see what the doctor says in the morning.  She is milking the whole "crutches/cast" thing -- her siblings have been waiting on her, we'll see how long that lasts....

Speaking of Marisa - I hear her calling from the other room.  I'd better go see what she needs.  Take care; enjoy these last few days of summer vacation.  May you have much sunshine & cool breezes…. Always, Michelle
