Happy Wednesday.  Above is a picture of the Atlantic Ocean.  The photo doesn't do justice to the beauty of the eastern coast.  I got up early Saturday morning and did my walk up the shoreline.  Myrtle Beach was wonderful last weekend.  The closest I have been to the Carolina's was the countless viewings of Bull Durham.   But, I must say - South Carolina is just breathtaking.  And we went at a perfect time.  Spring breakers have dissipated and things were low-key and relaxing.  There were more golfers than I could count (Dave was bummed he didn't bring his clubs....), but for the most part, the beach was empty and we didn't have to wait for anything.  Of course we visited the Myrtle Beach Pelicans (farm team for Atlanta) ballpark.  We were able to watch a few innings & pick up some baseball gear for the kids.  Can't go anywhere without including a visit to the local ball club.  :)

Other things in life are good.  Back at home and back into the swing of things.  With spring, baseball and softball practices are beginning.  Dave is coaching Marisa's softball team again this year - and assisting with Dominic's little league baseball team.  Life seems to be quite busy all of a sudden (not that it wasn't busy before - the activities have just changed).

Next weekend we are off to Toronto.  It's Marisa's 5th grade Girl Scout mother/daughter weekend and we decided to make it a family event - so we all are attending.  Should be another fun weekend, Marisa and I will see Phantom Saturday afternoon.  I saw it many years ago in Toronto - I'm sure it will be another incredible performance.

It's a rainy day here in Troy.  Yesterday was incredible and it's so exciting thinking about spring and summer.  We have a lot of fun times ahead of us.

On a sad note, my girlfriend Ann's dad passed away last week.  His health had been declining for sometime and it just became too much.  Please keep her family in your prayers.

Well, I'd better get going.  Have a wonderful day and I wish you nothing less than sandy beaches and clear skies.  Always, Michelle
