I have a little down time so thought I'd make a quick post.  Doing my best not to sound like a baseball play-by-play announcer.  We got to the hospital at about 7:15 this morning.  Michelle handling the stress of the morning very well.  Met with the surgeon, nurses, anesthetist (sp?) and everybody has been very upbeat.  Michelle asked the surgeon how he's feeling - he laughed and said he feels great!  I reassured her that I was in the pre-med program during my Freshman year at U of M just in case the doc needed my help.  Anyway, after going through all the pre-op pokes/prods, they gave her some versed (sp?) and fentinol (sp.) which immediately eliminated all stress from Michelle's mind.  She's in surgery now which should last about 5-6 hours.  Nurse should be checking in with us any time.  Bottom line, everything is going well.  -Dave
