Hi again. It's Saturday morning and I remembered I wanted to share with you last Wednesday's visit to the cardiologist. It's good news for me...... He did an EKG and general examine and said I look great. I continue to have the palpatations and extra heart beats, but I was assured they are harmless and won't be treated with any medicine. I'm hoping eventually they will go away. He told me I could stop taking amiodarone -- yahoo! Thursday was the last time I took it and if I never have to take it again that would be fine by me. Dr. Friedman didn't schedule me for a follow-up appt and doesn't plan to see me for a year or so. That amazes me, how quickly my life has returned to "status quo." I will see Dr. Kovach in February. She'll do an echocardiogram to see how my little piggie is doing. But until then, I'm on my own and all should be fine. Wow. What a ride.
