He looked regretfully at his watch man I really would love to, but Ive got to meet my sister Heidi in half an hour -  shes driving up from high school. Shes a senior at Providence High in Rhode Island, and finally has permission to drive the family car, so of all things shes coming to see me.  Ive gotta show her the sights, shes thinking about going here as a child psychology major, although I think she really wants to study literature. But we should definitely do it another time, and we can trade Jim stories, he finished with a laugh.

Trixie snorted well as long as we dont spend the whole time talking about him, it sounds great. The two traded numbers as they gathered up their books.  Mark waved goodbye, then took off across the campus to graduate student housing.

Trixie walked slowly back to her dorm, enjoying the brisk November air.  What should I do tonight? she mused out loud. Dan is probably out getting some action which leaves me with either more studying or maybe a party, neither of those sound good. She climbed the stairs to her floor mulling over her choices.

Trixie entered her room and saw that Willa was gone, but had left a note for her. Ill be back around 1 a.m. tonight Trix, got a long rehearsal for my performanceLove ya, Wills  Trixie sighed, not even the comfort of a roommate.  She sat on the bed and after a few minutes of staring blankly at the wall decided to read a book for fun.

She sorted hopefully through her piles of well worn books when a photo floated out from one of the teetering stacks.  She leaned over the side of the bed to pick it up.  Her eyes filled with tears as she looked at it. The photo was an old picture of the Bob Whites.  The boys were all clowning around in various poses, Di was trying to look disdainful and failing miserably, and Trixie was
blowing Honey a kiss.  Honey had a mock-horrified look on her innocent face.  Trixie clutched the photo tightly to her as the tears began to flow, and then she made a decision.  She stared nervously at the phone.  Finally, she took a deep breath and got her address book.  She found the number she was looking for and dialed.
Drugs R Us a male voice answered, to laughter in the background.

WhatI must have the wrong, I meanuhis Honey Wheeler there please?

Yo! Honeeeeeeeeeey, some girl on the phone for you. There was a long moment of silence, then the male voice returned, Hold on a second, she might be passed out in one of the rooms upstairsIll go check.  The phone on the other line was put down with a bang and Trixie heard pounding footsteps in the distance.  She stared at her phone in shock.  Obviously there had been some mistake.

Somebody there? a slurred voice asked.

Honey? Trixie asked timidly.

Who is this?  I told you I didnt wanna do itnot interested in trying that junk! Honeys voice became agitated.

Uh Honey, its Trixieare you okay? she questioned quietly.  There was a long silence.  Trixie became even more concerned, Honey, are you there? Whats going on?

Why? Honey sneered, Are you shocked or something? Shocked that perfect Madeline Wheeler might be up to no good? Is that it?

Honey, what are you talking about? Im just calling 'cause I'm worried about youits been so long, I wanted to talk to you, I miss you, I love youwhats going on?

Again there was silence, and then, well Im sorry Trixie, I dont miss you, I dont miss any of you, Im happy out here, Im experiencing true love and acceptance from all my friendswere about peace Trixie. And theres something else you ought to knowIm calling it quits on the whole detective agency, its really just not my scene anymorecops are the man, and the man is bad.  Theres way more important stuff going on in the world than our stupid kid games. I dont have time for that crap!  There was a click and then a dial tone
