December 8, 1999: GOOD NEWS!! We got the INS approval !!!! We finally have ALL of our paperwork -- everything. I can't believe it -- after all this time!! |

We are finishing all of the notorizations tomorrow and we are driving to Harrisburg next week as well as NYC for the remaining certifications/authentications. We will have the dossier to the agency for translation by Christmas and it will go to China in January. FINALLY -- a time table! |

I am SO excited! It took a phone call to our Congressman's office to get an answer about the INS approval. Our fingerprints had been processed and sent back to the INS on 11/16 so we couldn't figure out what the holdup was. REPEATED calls to the INS were a waste of time -- they finally called back AFTER I got it in the mail. LOL |
