To Whom It May Concern:

We are currently entering a new era in the history of teaching.  Our long working, hard working baby boomers are beginning to come to the age of retirement and a new, fresh face is coming to education.  I am one of these new, fresh faces.  Currently universities are teaching many new and exciting ideas concerning the English language and methods of effectively teaching English.  Since I have recently graduated from one of these said universities, my mind is full of fresh, exciting ideas.  I am exhilarated about the idea of being able to bring students these new methods. 

I have included a resume and a unit plan on the Holocaust so you may see what my experience has been, and what my ideas are.  I realize I am young.  Yet I am looking forward to learning as I go, from my students and from the actual act of teaching.  Please consider me for a position at your school.  I look forward to hearing from you.
