| This page is dedicated to my handsome cat, Nero. He came in to my life as a fuzzy and neurotic little bundle of fur on Feburary 7th 1992 (I think...). He was given to me by my mother as my 7th birthday present, and he has been my darling ever since. He still has a tendency towards pingpong balls 11 years later (if no one is watching...) but now spends most of his time sleeping in the wood shed, waiting for his dinner or being cuddled. He always greets me before anyone else (he knows who his mummy is), and still remembered me even when I disappeared for 18 months to Australia. He is black and white, although with time the sun has bleached his back to a rusty brown colour (this is really beautiful when the sun shines on it, otherwise it is black looking). This is due to his infatuation with washing himself (I think he's vain, but I can't blame him, he's so beautiful). He is a 'mogrel' half persian (gets the persian from his daddy's side), but unlike some half persians, his fur is full persian length. I think he is one of the most beautiful cats in the world.
