The temperatures used in Firing clay poducts range from 1100 degrees F to 3200 degrees F to as high as 4200 degrees F
Some Tennis Courts are made from an Asphalt and Clay mixture.
A Potter Wasp makes a nest totally out of Clay. Thay form it into a pot shape and even put a clay plug in it to protect their young.
Clay comes in different colors. All of them natural colors like tan, brown, white, black, and even green.
Some people use clay as a relaxing bath. There are natural healing minerals in clay.
Stoneware Clay is very durable and strong.
Pueblo Indians painted their pottery with residue of boiled plants or finely ground metallic rocks.
In early times clay was hardened by putting the pottery in a very hot fire pit.
Some animals eat clay along with their food to help in digestion. Humans used to mix it with their foods a long time ago.
There are homes made completely out of clay. They are called Adobe homes.
