Would you look at that...most of the "south" is on this list (how embarrassing)
S.J. Res. 10 and H.J. Res 40 are resolutions which have been introduced to Congress during the 2001-2002 session. It proposes that an amendment of equal rights between men and women be added to the Constitution. (again, something we typically assume is already a part of it....NOPE--only women's right to vote.)
These resolutions need as many co-sponsors as possible. Please take the time to see if your local and state representatives are on the list of co-sponsors If he/she is not, please take the time to e-mail a letter encouraging them to support this resolution as a co-sponsor.
Please send this to at least 5 more women and/or intelligent, reasonable, secure men. (don't laugh ladies, they actually exist)
