Say the word magick and it conjurs up visions of gnarly witches hunched over  a black cauldron that contains indescribably nasty ingredients...
That however is NOT what  real magick is...that 's an old misconception that many people have.  Chances are you've performed magick in your everyday life and didn't even realize that's what you were doing.
For instance, have you every made chicken soup for a friend with a cold?
Have you painted Easter eggs, carried a rabbits foot or other object for good luck?   Almost every one of us has magick in their lives...magick is nothing more than an intention made manifest by an action.  In other words, when you were making that chicken soup for the sick friend, you were tossing in the ingredients and as you were doing so you were thinking of your friend and wishing them well.  Your attention was focused on the soup and the wishes connected to your friend...That is Magick!  Likewise when you rub that rabbits foot
(poor rabbit) or hold that lucky coin in your hand
and wish for whatever it is you want, that too is magick.
Not every work of magick you perform needs to be
"high" ceremonial magick. In our everyday worlds,
there isn't often time to  perform ceremonial magick,
(save the ceremonial magick for Sabbats and full moon workings).
We can and should start our day with a quiet affirmation,
a few magickal words, and perhaps an everyday spell, call these everyday reverences
"easy magick". They are designed to enhance your spiritual life
and yet require very little in the way of tools, staging, etc.
Remember: The intent and the sincerity in your heart is what makes it magickal,
Otherwise, you might just as well be reading the phone book...

Be true of heart and you will know,
that magick is to help you grow.
Be true of mind and you will see
The energy is part of thee.
