Family Vacation in Spain (continued) ...
There are a lot of stray cats in Nerja.  During the day many of them nap by the tourist areas.  Here are two cute kittens sleeping and taking in the sun.
In Barcelona (well in many of the cities) you can buy bird food to feed all the pigeons in the plaza.  Here my mom and I feed the pigeons.  Don't I look so thrilled?!  We literally could not walk, because we would step on some of the birds.  My poor mom, after this, her arms were all bloody from the birds' claws.  It was an experience though.  :)
Much of the famous architechture in Barcelona was done by the famous architect, Antonio Gaudi.  His works are incredible.  The buildings look extremely modern, and are like nothing you've ever seen!  Here we are in Parc Guell.  Much of the park is covered in beautiful ceramic mosaic tiles.  It was so so pretty!

Top:  A bench overlooking part of the park.

Bottom:  A mosaic decoration on the ceiling of one of the enclosures.
