We couldn't help but get caught up in the whole Halloween thing. Despite rumours that only one kid would show up, the front door was decorated, treats were prepared and the porch light switched on. And they came! Witches, ladybirds, draculas, fairies and other unidentified objects. We ran out of candy early on in the evening and it was panic stages since the saying is Trick or Treat. If you don't give them a treat they play a trick on you. Luckily a supply of sweets was readily available from Cindy.

Over 30 munchkins passed by our doorstep holding out their bags demanding treats. So it was a relief when 9:00 arrived - they all had to be home in bed. The next day was a school night.

Next year, we've gotta dress up.
