WE BEAT  THE PIGS 2-1

What can we say? The atmosphear was out of this world......Blue and white balloons, and not to meantion the flag. Could it get any better I asked myself.....Apparantly, yes, it could. Efan Ekoku scored the goals that kept the blue side of Sheffield smiling....and sent the reds home with their heads hung low.  Many people said, and we thoroughly agree, that the pace picked up when Di Piedi was subbed on in the 105th minute. As usual he made fantastic runs, really giving his all for Sheffield Wednesday. Also in typical Di Piedi fashion, he went tumbling down.....It wasn't a dive either.....he never dives *grin*

In all seriousness though, the match was fantastic......The Blades boss was quoted in saying that he felt Sheffield United had a brighter future than Paul Jewels side.....Well, all we can say is......Who won baby?? You didn't look too bright when you were booted out of the Worthington cup by the Owls !!

We rest our case.

Now, with confidence high at Hillsborough......what score did we expect to get from Crystal Palace? We didn't expect a 4-1 thrashing, that's for sure. However, we can't  blame the lads.....they have literally been working their socks off for the past few weeks....and hey, they have a chance to redeem themselves on Tuesday. Bring it on Watford!
