Michele Di Piedi joined Sheffield Wednesday on July 31st 2000, for the grand total of �0. Di Piedi traveled over from his old club, Perugia, where he has since made Hillsborough his home. At 19 years of age Michele shows great enthusiasm whenever on the pitch. He is fast, skillful and always aiming to acheive his highest standard. During his first full game he managed to put one past Grimbsy Town..securing the first Owls win all season. This also secured himself a place within all the Wednesday fans hearts, as he became a fan favourite.

Michele Di Piedi ( Pronounced Miguel ) is still yet to show the Owls fans what he is capable of......but given time, this black-belt at Karate will surely set Hillsborough alight.
