After just a day training with Mansfield, Di Piedi is back at Wednesday, apparantly he didn't like the training set-up at Mansfield and was back in a Wednesday shirt on 3rd August for Wendesdays final pre season game against Oldham which they won 2-1.
Michele has joined the stags on a week long trial and could play against Lincoln on the 3rd August and Alaves on the 5th August.
Beni has once again shaved all his lovely hair off!!!!!! god knows why i mean it's winter and now he won't have his lovely long hair to keep his head warm! Looks like Beni will be buying out Ralph Laurens entire cap collection.
After easily seeing off Oldham in the 2nd round of the cup. Wednesday winning 8-2 on aggerate. Wednesday will now meet rivals Sheffield United, in the 3rd round in which is bound to be a action packed affair! The 3rd round is only based on 1 leg which is in Wednesdays favour at Hillsborough. On the night if it is a draw after full time there will be extra time & the penalties.

Pressure off Di Piedi
Sheffield Wednesday fans have made Di Piedi into an overnight hero at Hillsborough, but SWFC have said that he is still only learning the game. He is only 19 years old, and should not be compared to Paolo Di Canio and Benito Carbone. SWFC feel that too much pressure may be being laid onto Michele, and that isn't a good thing at such a young age.
Still injury brimming, Sheffield Wednesday are rumoured to be giving Michele his first home start! He ankle injury is gone, and he is back up to 100% and back training properly.
