Turkmen language, like other Turkic languages, have been written in latin script in pre-Soviet era, then cyrillic in Soviet era, and then latin scipt again in post-Soviet era in another version. The current official latin alphabet is created by former president Saparmurat Nyýazow, which I think is not appropiate. Therefore, I've proposed another Latin alphabet based on Uniform Turkic Alphabet that is meant to be used for writing of Turkmen. It is now in a very early stage of development, so some changes may occur to it in the future as the creator see fit. For any questions please use the email link below.
